YOUR MISSION 

We’re hiring a People Operations Generalist to help scale and strengthen our People Operations Team in a high-growth environment. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for rolling up their sleeves and looking for ways to keep the People efficient. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Process hires, transfers and terminations in HRIS (Rippling), and respective downstream workflows 
  • Support onboarding and offboarding logistics (I-9s, benefits enrollment support, equipment retrieval) 
  • Prepare and send routine employee communications (policy reminders, open enrollment communications. Maintain employee communication channels (Teams, Confluence) 
  • Possesses foundational knowledge of benefits and leaves to field employee questions. 
  • Identify system/process gaps, propose improvements, and drive implementation—balancing speed with quality. 
  • Support multi-state compliance execution through strong process controls (document retention, policy acknowledgements, required notices, tracking). 
  • Assist with audits and internal checks (e.g., I-9 process coordination, policy distribution, data accuracy reviews) in partnership with senior People/Legal/Finance stakeholders as needed. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Ideally 3+ years of work experience in a People Operations role in a start-up environment. 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proactive and resourceful, with a problem-solving mindset and a customer-focused approach. 
  • Tech-savvy, with experience and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, Microsoft Teams or Zoom, and Confluence. 
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and maintaining strict confidentiality. 
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic and evolving environment. 
  • Passionate about fostering positive employee experiences and contributing to organizational success. 

COMPENSATION  

  • Base Salary: $75,000- $105,000 
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave 

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education and experience.
