Operations Manager, Roadshows

True Classic is seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Manager to lead the execution of Costco and Sam's Club Roadshow events. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented leader with strong expertise in retail fulfillment, logistics, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing large-scale retail activations—especially within the Costco or Sam’s Club ecosystems—and brings a passion for operational excellence and efficiency.

All roles at True Classic are global and omnichannel, driving accountability across product categories, regions, and sales/marketing channels.

Areas of Accountability

Roadshow Program Management

• Lead the strategic and operational planning of Costco and Sam’s Club Roadshow events.
• Manage and coordinate a cross-functional working group including Sales, Planning, Operations, and Production to ensure events are executed with precision.
• Own end-to-end event execution—from inventory planning and logistics to on-site readiness and post-event reviews.

Kitting & Fulfillment Oversight

• Oversee kitting and fulfillment operations to ensure timely and accurate assembly and delivery of roadshow kits.
• Identify operational risks early and implement mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and quality.
• Optimize packaging, labeling, and distribution processes in partnership with internal teams and external providers.
• Ensure Production is scheduled to support on-time delivery of sufficient inventory to support planned Roadshow events.

Vendor & Partner Management

• Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers, kitting and corrugate suppliers, and software vendors to meet performance and service-level expectations.
• Establish and maintain service agreements, SLAs, and KPIs to monitor and improve partner performance.
• Run RFP processes to identify new vendors to improve operations and de-risk operations.

Team Leadership & Reporting

• Lead a team of operations analysts, driving project tracking, data integrity, and timely reporting.
• Build and manage dashboards and tools to enable transparency and visibility into roadshow operations.

Cross-Functional & Executive Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for roadshow operations, providing updates to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Present status reports, escalate critical issues, and propose corrective actions and opportunities for continuous improvement to cross-functional teams and Senior Leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in retail operations, supply chain, or fulfillment management.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale retail roadshows, preferably with Costco and/or Sam’s Club.
• Strong vendor management experience, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills and experience managing teams responsible for reporting and tracking.
• Experience working with 3PLs and other fulfillment partners in a high-growth consumer products company.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with changing priorities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; experience presenting to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Experience with order management systems (OMS)
• Working knowledge of NetSuite (ERP)
• Proficiency in Looker (data reporting)
• Experience using Asana (project management)
• Understanding of transportation management systems (TMS)

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $100K -$130K
