Senior Product Manager
About us
TruffleHog is a popular open source tool used by security researchers all over the world to find leaky API keys and responsibly disclose them to affected companies. This provides income through bug bounty platforms like HackerOne to individuals that may otherwise have a hard time finding employment. This also prevents breaches from occurring, which can be very costly for companies to resolve.
When we founded Truffle Security Co. in February of 2021, we committed to continue to grow a community with security researchers around the world, and continue to provide free and open resources to support those that make the world more secure. We have a strong commitment to open source and to the community. We’re looking for help supporting our mission to prevent leaking credentials and build the best products for machine identity protection.
At Truffle, you’ll have the opportunity to join a fully remote, collaborative team contributing to meaningful advancements in cybersecurity.
About the role
Truffle Security is on a mission to build products that help organizations discover and remediate critical security vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. As the Product Manager for our enterprise B2B cybersecurity software product, you will be a tactical leader ensuring that the company’s strategic goals translate into a clear and effective vision that our engineering teams can execute on. You’ll work closely with our customers and cross-functional teams (engineering, design, security research, solutions architects and others) to establish a now-next-later roadmap and roll out our company's vision and strategy. By regularly engaging customers, you’ll synthesize feedback to pinpoint root challenges and propose solutions that balance bespoke needs with our broader product vision. Your role involves aligning on priorities, driving agreement across teams, and incorporating subject matter experts’ insights—ultimately delivering a product that meets our customers’ goals while maintaining a focus on scalable, strategic innovation.
What you'll be working on
- Own the Product Vision: Drive the development and evolution of TruffleHog Enterprise, ensuring it aligns with the company’s strategy and delivers exceptional value to customers.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the CTO, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product Design, and Engineering teams to create a compelling roadmap and execute on it.
- Gather and Analyze Feedback: Actively engage with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to collect insights and translate them into clear requirements and actionable features.
- Shape Product Strategies: Define and implement product strategies that align with our vision while addressing the challenges faced by cybersecurity teams.
- Drive Results: Roll up your sleeves to solve complex problems, ensuring product milestones are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
What we're looking for

- Demonstrated success managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
- Familiarity with security concepts and the challenges faced by security teams.
- Comfortable with product management tools and processes, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.

- Experience working remotely and driving cohesion with a fully-distributed Engineering team
