For overall team productivity, we optimize meeting hours in the pacific time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3pm PT, however, ad hoc meetings occur between 8am-6pm Pacific time. #LI-remote

Who We Need

Truveta is rapidly building a talented and diverse team to tackle complex health and technical challenges. Beyond core capabilities, we are seeking problem solvers, passionate and collaborative teammates, and those willing to roll up their sleeves while making a difference. If you are interested in the opportunity to pursue purposeful work, join a mission-driven team, and build a rewarding career while having fun, Truveta may be the perfect fit for you.

This Opportunity

At Truveta, we have an ambitious mission of “saving lives with data.” We do that by transforming real-world healthcare experiences into insights that fuel research and improve patient outcomes at unprecedented speed and scale. We are looking for a Product Manager, Data Quality to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for how Truveta delivers high-quality, reliable, and trustworthy real-world data experiences for clinical research.

This role is critical to ensuring that researchers, partners, and internal teams can confidently rely on Truveta data to power meaningful healthcare insights. You will define and drive the roadmap for data quality across the full lifecycle of our platform — from ingestion and orchestration through transformation, validation, and production delivery. You will be responsible for creating scalable, systematic approaches to identifying, measuring, improving, and communicating data quality across one of the most advanced healthcare data platforms in the industry.

The ideal candidate is deeply curious about data and passionate about understanding why data behaves the way it does. You are energized by diving into complex systems, investigating root causes, and translating ambiguity into clear, durable solutions. You combine strategic product leadership with strong analytical rigor and exceptional communication skills, enabling you to connect highly technical data quality concepts to meaningful research and business outcomes.

You will partner closely with engineering, clinical informatics, operations, and research stakeholders to define what “great” data quality looks like and operationalize it across the organization. Leveraging an AI-first mindset, you will modernize how quality is measured, monitored, surfaced, and continuously improved at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for data quality across Truveta’s real-world data platform
  • Own and drive the product roadmap for scalable, measurable, and trustworthy data quality capabilities that improve the researcher’s experience
  • Establish clear frameworks, KPIs, and metrics for measuring data quality and research readiness across the data lifecycle
  • Translate complex data quality signals into compelling narratives and actionable insights for business leaders, researchers, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Partner closely with engineering and data platform teams to improve data quality processes across ingestion, orchestration, transformation, validation, and production systems
  • Lead initiatives that turn recurring data issues, investigations, and analyses into durable platform improvements, automated defenses, and scalable product capabilities
  • Leverage AI-first approaches to automate detection, monitoring, validation, and remediation of data quality issues at scale
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve usability, transparency, observability, and trust within Truveta’s data products and researcher experiences
  • Foster alignment and clarity across teams through calm, effective communication in high-ambiguity and fast-moving situations

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of technical or data-focused products
  • Demonstrated experience owning delivery backlogs and successfully launching data-driven products or platform capabilities
  • Deep curiosity for data and a strong desire to understand how data systems, pipelines, and products function end-to-end
  • Proven ability to define, measure, and communicate data quality metrics, and to drive sustained, measurable improvements that meaningfully impact business performance and customer outcomes
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • A bias toward systematic, durable solutions that improve platform reliability and operational efficiency over time, combined with strong analytical rigor and the judgment to investigate root causes deeply without losing focus on the highest-impact opportunities
  • Strong SQL experience and comfort exploring data to validate hypotheses, investigate anomalies, and support root cause analysis
  • Passion for building trusted healthcare data experiences that improve clinical research and patient outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare data experience, including familiarity with standards and vocabularies such as FHIR, RxNorm/NDC, LOINC, and CPT
  • Experience with clinical and billing workflows and their resulting data outputs
  • Familiarity with modern data stacks and platforms such as Azure, Databricks, PostgreSQL, and orchestration technologies
  • Experience applying AI and machine learning techniques to detect, analyze, or resolve data quality challenges
  • Experience building observability, monitoring, or reliability capabilities for large-scale data platforms
  • Strong product intuition for balancing data quality rigor, operational scalability, and customer experience
