Join the team as our next Commercial Account Executive ANZ on Twilio’s Segment team.

 

About the job

 

We're looking to grow our sales team by finding bright, hardworking Account Executives who can sell a technical product to a range of business functions (developers, marketing, product, BI, analytics) with integrity and conviction. We're still a young team, so each member plays an integral role in building the foundation of our future sales organization. You will be the dominant driver of revenue growth, and be on the main lines of evangelizing our platform to some of the faster and innovative small to mid sized companies in ANZ.

 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Spearhead the growth & adoption of Segment 
  • Manage full sales cycles from initial conversion by the Sales Development Team
  • Uncover new opportunities from our existing customers and target accounts
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing your pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts
  • Leverage and coordinate cross-functional internal teams (Legal, Engineering, Security, Marketing, Product) to efficiently navigate complex sales cycles
  • Engage in team development and mentoring
  • Lead compelling presentations of Segment’s product and vision to a broad range of audiences from c-level executives to individual contributors

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in a closing role at a SaaS provider, with a record of top performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deep understanding of the marketing technology industry and key players
  • Ability to autonomously thrive in a constantly changing and evolving work environment
  • Unwavering drive to be successful and constantly develop your career
  • Intellectual curiosity and high ambition

 

Desired:

  • Cross selling experience in IT, Marketing, Data, Analytics and Engineering
  • Business value selling experience

 

Location

This role will be based in remote, Australia

 

Travel 

 

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 55% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.
