- Work with cross-functional teams to activate customer and business data across marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and other customer engagement platforms.
- Ensure that data flows seamlessly between systems and is optimized for usage in marketing, sales, and customer experience initiatives.
- Design and implement data pipelines that transform raw data into actionable insights, ensuring that data is cleaned, structured, and ready for analysis or activation.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data processing solutions.
- Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
- Automate data workflows to ensure that data is continuously updated, accurate, and available for real-time activation.
- Implement scheduling and automation processes that reduce manual intervention and streamline data management tasks.
- Utilize scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Apache Airflow) to optimize data processes.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, engineering, and customer success teams to understand their data needs and activate data across the right channels.
- Help teams leverage customer data for personalized marketing campaigns, sales outreach, and customer service initiatives.
- Provide technical support for teams using data activation platforms to ensure they can effectively leverage data for their needs.
- Ensure that customer and business data is used in compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Implement data security best practices, including encryption, access control, and auditing.
- Maintain data quality by monitoring data flows, identifying discrepancies, and addressing issues as they arise.
- Monitor the performance of data activation workflows and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Analyze data workflows to identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and improve overall system efficiency.
- Regularly test data pipelines to ensure high availability and reliability of activated data.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data activation and integration.
- Identify opportunities to improve the data activation infrastructure, recommending new tools or methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms that could help streamline data activation and improve business outcomes.
