Recruiter - Temporary/Contract (6 months)

The Recruiter is a 6-month contract role responsible for full cycle recruiting for multiple functions, including but not limited to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, etc. This includes sourcing and engaging candidates, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience from first contact through onboarding. You'll partner closely with hiring managers and the broader Talent Acquisition team, supporting recruiting programs and coordination needs while gaining hands-on, full-cycle experience in a fast-paced environment.

Position is a 6-month contract, Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday onsite in Wilsonville, OR

What You'll Be Doing

  • Ability to ramp up quickly and manage an active requisition load from day one
  • Availability for the full 6-month contract term
  • Manage full cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, assessing, and supporting offer and closing activities, while ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand the needs of each role and help tailor recruiting approaches to find candidates who align with Twist's guiding principles
  • Coordinate interview logistics, including scheduling phone, video, and onsite interviews, preparing interview panels, and communicating with candidates throughout the process
  • Support onboarding coordination, including offer letter preparation, background checks, and new hire handoffs
  • Leverage our ATS (Greenhouse) as the source of truth for all recruiting activities, keeping candidate records, interview feedback, and requisition data accurate and up to date
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals to help build a diverse pipeline
  • Use clear, engaging communication to represent Twist as an employer of choice
  • Support recruiting programs and initiatives such as diversity recruiting, career fairs, and pipeline-building efforts
  • Contribute to team projects that improve recruiting processes and operational efficiency
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics and prepare HR reports (e.g., recruitment, candidate pipeline)
  • Stay informed on market trends and share relevant insights with the team and hiring managers
  • Follow employment laws and regulations, as well as regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, including full cycle recruiting and/or recruiting coordination
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing, supply chain, quality, or other operations roles a plus
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences industries a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse experience a plus)
  • Strong customer focus, with the ability to provide a high-touch experience for candidates and hiring managers
  • Basic understanding of employment law and compliance as it relates to recruiting, with a willingness to learn more
  • Experience sourcing candidates and an interest in finding diverse talent
  • Collaborative approach and the ability to work with diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Adaptability. Priorities can shift quickly, and you're comfortable juggling multiple requisitions and scheduling needs
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with a sense of urgency
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a Talent Acquisition team
