Two Six Technologies is growing, and we are looking for a Project Finance Analyst to support our expanding team. This role will focus on providing financial support for projects in the national security sector, including cyber security, data science (AI and machine learning), microelectronics, next-gen communications, and intelligence decision support. You will assist with financial data preparation, project tracking, and budgeting to help ensure smooth operations.

This is a hybrid position mostly working from home and going into our Arlington, VA office as needed for meetings.

What You Will Do:

  • Support financial tracking and reporting for multiple contract types (T&M, FFP,CPFF, etc.)
  • Assist in maintaining financial compliance with contract requirements
  • Help set up and manage billable contracts in Unanet ERP
  • Prepare financial reports, including cost tracking, budget forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals
  • Support pricing efforts for contracts and proposals
  • Track subcontractor costs, material receipts, and open commitments
  • Assist with invoice processing and monthly billing activities
  • Prepare travel expense reports in compliance with FAR and Federal Travel Regulations (FTR)

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or an additional 2+ years of related experience
  • 1+ year of experience in project finance or financial analysis ideally working for a federal government contracting company
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-focused approach to problem-solving

Security Clearance Needed:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Salary Range

$68,000 - $136,000 USD
