Opportunity 

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer who can take ownership of UX design across the UJET product stack, from our platform portal, including configuration and reporting, agent communications adapters, to our consumer facing web and mobile applications. You will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers, by creating clean, modern user interfaces and optimized workflows to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Identify problems, suggest solutions, recommend implementations, and execute solutions to improve the user experience.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
  • Create wireframes, UI workflow prototypes, animations, icons, and final UI designs and style guides
  • Maintain, extend and evolve our UI design library to ensure design consistency across UI components and support product implementation efficiencies
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multi-functional and multi-disciplined teams
  • High level of initiative and experience to successfully define and guide product design from conception to launch with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, end users, engineers, and other UI designers to implement intuitive UX interactions, effective workflows and attractive UI designs

Requirements

  • 4+ years of UI design experience within a SaaS product team or a digital design agency
  • An inspiring portfolio showing us how you have researched and crafted great user interface experiences, seeing them through to released products
  • Ability to understand and distill complex design problems into elegant, informed solutions
  • Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies
  • Expert knowledge and utility of professional design tools; i.e. Figma or Sketch
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Expert knowledge of cross-platform web/mobile usability standards and specifications.
  • BSc in Digital Art, Graphic Design, User Experience,  Computer Science, Engineering or other related area preferred
