Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Role Profile

This role will primarily be focused on electrical design deliverables to some of our longest standing clients, and will be reporting directly to our E&I Manager. This role will be involved in exciting projects within the pharmaceutical industry and requires an experienced individual with strong attention to detail. You'll work closely with our clients to understand the requirements for their faciltiies and develop these into comprehensive electrical layouts. While you won't be managing individuals you'll be expected to contribute as a mentor to some of our junior team members and contribute to their development.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading support on an integrated, multi-tasking design team.
  • Strong technical ability in all aspects of Electrical & Power System design.
  • Design and specification of Electrical systems to current regulations and design standards.
  • Preparing Electrical Specifications and inputting into P&ID drawings.
  • Generation of Electrical layout drawings.
  • Input to scope of work documentation for tender & construction packages.
  • Working directly with clients to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.

About You

The ideal candidate will have significant, demonstratable, Electrical Design experience either within a Pharmaceutical manufacturer or within a Design Consultancy. You must be a good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional design team. If your experience is from outside the Pharma sector, then please still get in touch!
