Senior Vice President, Marketing

United States

Job Title: Senior Vice President, Marketing

Department: Marketing

About the Role

As a member of the Leadership Team, the SVP of Marketing will shape company strategy and lead a fully integrated Marketing & Communications organization. Reporting to the President (and partnering closely with the CEO and CRO), this leader will own the end-to-end marketing engine that drives predictable growth—pipeline creation, product and category positioning, and customer lifecycle programs that improve adoption, retention, and expansion.

The Opportunity

  • Scale a mission-driven marketing function at a $100M ARR health technology SaaS company at a pivotal growth stage.
  • Build a more predictable pipeline engine (efficiency, conversion, and forecasting rigor).
  • Strengthen category narrative and trust in a complex healthcare buying environment.
  • Deepen lifecycle marketing to improve adoption and retention and expand customer advocacy.

What You'll Do:

1) Marketing strategy and operating system

  • Define and lead the marketing strategy aligned to company growth goals (pipeline, ARR, retention/NRR).
  • Own marketing planning, budgeting, scorecards, and executive reporting.
  • Establish operating rhythms with Sales, Product, and Customer Success (SLAs, pipeline reviews, launch readiness).

2) Demand generation & pipeline acceleration

  • Build and optimize multi-channel demand programs (ABM, performance, field/events, partners, content).
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to improve lead flow, scoring, routing, and attribution.
  • Own marketing-sourced pipeline targets and ROI.

3) Positioning, brand, and communications

  • Define a compelling, differentiated narrative that builds trust and credibility in the market.
  • Develop and lead an integrated messaging strategy across web, content, campaigns, sales assets, and executive communications.
  • Lead PR/comms strategy, thought leadership, and analyst relations.
  • Lead a structured internal communications strategy that drives alignment, transparency, and engagement across cross-functional teams, reinforcing company vision and strategic priorities in partnership with executive leadership.

4) Product marketing & go-to-market readiness

  • Own buyer personas, positioning, packaging/offer strategy (in partnership with Product/Revenue leaders), and launch orchestration.
  • Translate product capabilities into clear value propositions and enablement for Sales and CS.
  • Establish competitive intelligence and messaging discipline across segments.

5) Customer marketing & lifecycle

  • Build lifecycle programs that improve onboarding, product adoption, renewal readiness, and advocacy.
  • Partner with Customer Success on retention drivers and churn reduction initiatives.
  • Scale customer proof: case studies, references, CABs, community, referrals.

6) Team leadership & talent development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team and leadership bench.
  • Build the right org design across demand gen, product marketing, lifecycle/customer marketing, comms/content, and marketing ops.
  • Set, communicate, and reinforce clear priorities to drive focus, alignment, and disciplined execution across all marketing functions.

You’re a great fit for this role if:

  • 10+years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Senior marketing leader with experience scaling B2B SaaS in a similar stage environment (e.g., ~$100–$500M ARR).
  • Proven track record building predictable pipeline and partnering tightly with Sales and RevOps.
  • Strong positioning and product marketing instincts—can simplify complexity into compelling value.
  • Comfortable operating in healthcare’s trust-heavy, multi-stakeholder buying context.
  • Experienced people leader who builds durable teams and scalable systems.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
