About the Role:
Upgrade is seeking a Program Support (OPS) Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The Program Support Team supports the overall organization with various centralized tasks including knowledge and task maintenance, program development, and process improvement. The Program Support role is responsible for supporting the enhancement and growth of Upgrade’s first line of defense Oversight Program. Reporting to the Program Support Supervisor, this individual contributor will engage with various partners, including leadership, to complete Oversight deliverables, projects, and initiatives.
Starting Pay: $24.00
What You’ll Do:
- Act FAST to identify opportunities to establish internal processes that support the effective observation of Service Center tasks to mitigate regulatory risks
- Builds productive internal relationships with peer-level positions to resolve issues quickly to stay on course
- Collaborate with Stakeholders and Business Partners to HELP develop appropriate methods to facilitate effective and efficient first-line defense (FLOD) reviews
- Create and track business deliverables to keep Oversight initiatives up to date
- Develop internal job aides, procedures and process flows to depict Oversight processes
- Identify, assess, recommend, and support the implementation of IMPROVEments to core processes
- OWN individual results and strive for continuous improvement to best support the business needs and role expectations
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
What We Look For:
- 1+ year of applicable experience in a compliance or project management-related role
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities and schedule requirements to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently but a team player who can effectively collaborate across multiple groups
- Adaptable and flexible to changes in business needs as it relates to the role and daily responsibilities
- Advanced technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft, Google Suite, data mining tools, and/ or statistics with the aptitude to learn new programs
- Collaborative, non-confrontational, well-thought-written, and verbal communication style that promotes growth and partnership
- Experience in banking and financial services preferred
- Experience interpreting rules and guidelines for appropriate decision-making
- Highly adaptable to an ever-changing environment
- Positive attitude
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to analyze data to clearly and concisely convey operational successes, trends, and opportunities
