PlayStation Studios' International Production & Localisation team works with some of the most creative and quality-driven development teams in the industry to deliver best-in-class international experiences for critically acclaimed franchises like Horizon, Destiny, God of War, The Last of Us, Astro Bot, and Ghost of Yotei.

We also work closely with Sony Interactive Entertainment’s publishing and digital marketing teams to manage global translation requirements for printed materials and digital content.

What You’ll Do
As an Artificial Intelligence Translation Intern, you will:

• Create, test, and refine prompts and technical setups to address key challenges in translation, localization, and related processes.

• Collaborate with linguists to apply feedback and enhance language quality.

• Participate in team sessions and working groups focused on advancing localization practices.

• Analyze performance data and report on AI translation acceptance and related metrics.

What We’re Looking For

• Current enrollment in an accredited university Master’s program in linguistics, language technology, or a related field, with graduation expected between December 2026 and Spring 2027.

• Fluency in English and at least one additional language.

• Strong skills using large language models, including advanced prompting and familiarity with RAG and agentic workflows.

• Passion for video games and interest in how players experience PlayStation content worldwide.

Eligibility

• Students with expected graduation between December 2026 and Spring 2027 from an accredited university. Advanced Degree - Masters

• Able to work during one of the following periods: May 18th - August 7th or June 15th - September 4th. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

• Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.

Our intern positions offer a fixed hourly pay rate. Please note that the pay rate is exclusive to the internship period and may not reflect what pay may look like following the completion of an internship.
