About the Team:
Licensed gaming hardware and peripherals are a crucial part of the gaming world, boosting the player's experience with precision, comfort, and style. Our global peripheral licensing team supports the development of third-party peripherals and accessories that enhance the player experience with PlayStation hardware, games, services, and apps. We provide licensees with access to technical documentation and support to streamline the creation of high-quality products. Our program ensures that licensed peripherals and accessories are designed to meet Sony Interactive Entertainment's (SIE) standards for compatibility and quality.

About the Role:
As a Peripheral Licensing Intern, you will gain direct exposure to how PlayStation collaborates with global partners to bring high-quality peripherals and accessories to market. You’ll work closely with licensing account managers and cross-functional teams to support product launches, analyze business operations, and help improve key processes. This internship is designed to give you practical experience in licensing, product lifecycle management, and global partner engagement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support licensing account manager(s) with launching new licensed products, evaluating new deal proposals, meeting with global partners, and preparing internal reporting deliverables

  • Use your education and experience to understand and analyze licensing business operations and processes at SIE

  • Develop insightful dashboards and toolkits for account managers and leadership to manage royalty reporting and category data

  • Propose and execute recommendations to optimize reporting and forecasting processes for greater efficiency

  • Improve the marketing asset review process by helping evolve it into a self-service tool for licensees to submit and receive feedback

  • Take ownership of a capstone project tailored to your interests and development goals, contributing lasting value to the team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current enrollment in an accredited university MBA with a marketing or product management focus is a plus, with graduation expected between December 2026 and Spring 2027.

  • Curious self-starter with a strong sense of ownership for your work

  • High attention to detail with effective communication skills

  • Confidence and ability to build relationships and collaborate at all levels (up to VP)

  • Ability to lead through influence and promote change in a fast-paced environment

  • Awareness of the gaming industry and peripheral hardware trends a plus

  • Passion for video games

Eligibility:

  • Students with expected graduation between December 2026 and Spring 2027 from an accredited university. Advanced Degree - MBA 

  • Able to work during one of the following periods: May 18th - August 7th or June 15th - September 4th. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

  • Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.

Our intern positions offer a fixed hourly pay rate. Please note that the pay rate is exclusive to the internship period and may not reflect what pay may look like following the completion of an internship

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. 

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
