What we’re looking for
Vacasa is seeking a hard-working, energetic employee who is passionate about delivering personalized attention and helping us maintain our quickly growing portfolio of vacation homes. This person should have a willingness to jump in when needed and a knack for fixing things to ensure the needs of our properties are met.
Compensation
- $25.04 CAD / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location.

What you’ll do
· Deliver guest requests and show excellent customer service and must look professional at all times
· Provides housekeepers with needed supplies and stocks service rooms
· Keep your working equipment clean and in good working order
· Remove soiled linen/garbage from each room attendant carts and prepares for pick up
· Service rooms should always be kept neat, items folded neatly/stored correctly and always in order for easy access.
· Assist guests with their luggage whenever required
· Complete calls from Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor/Front Desk to change any light bulbs, stock up missing items in units, guests requests etc.
· Report any damage or any other problems to the housekeeping & maintenance departments immediately.
· When you are finished your day, check with the office to see if other crews need assistance.
· Have a good knowledge of security and safety. Report any suspicious activity to your team leaders, supervisors or rooms division manager.
· Return keys and pagers before leaving the premises.
· Always be available to assist your team in any situation.
· Other duties as required by supervisors or manager.
· Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper.
Skills and Position Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to retain focus is fast paced and at times stressful environment.
- Personable with a positive and friendly attitude
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Previous cleaning experience required
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English, additional languages are an asset
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings and evenings as needed.
- Occasional need to perform housekeeping and/or inspection duties
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
- Reach overhead and below the waist
- Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
