IAM Consultant

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced IAM Consultant to lead the migration of a client's Okta system to a new Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure ID) system. This is a senior-level contract position lasting three months, starting in May 2025. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IAM projects within regulated industries such as life sciences, energy, oil & gas, or specialty chemicals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end migration process from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Perform detailed assessments of the current Okta environment and develop a comprehensive migration plan.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Execute the migration activities, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's operations.
  • Configure Microsoft Entra ID to meet the client's specific requirements and industry regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for IAM in regulated industries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process.
  • Document all processes, configurations, and changes made during the project.
  • Train and support client staff on the new Microsoft Entra ID system.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IAM Consultant with a focus on Okta and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure ID).
  • Demonstrated success in leading IAM migration projects for regulated industries such as life sciences, energy, oil & gas, or specialty chemicals.
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Relevant certifications in IAM, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID are a plus.
