The role
Due to recent growth, Valtech is expanding its global accounting and finance team. The Accountant in this role is responsible to provide technical accounting expertise and perform accounting work that supports the business, for US and also BA accounting. This position will report to the Finance Manager in Buenos Aires.
Role responsibilities
- Perform various month-end close duties including journal entries, expense accruals & provisions and roll forward schedules.
- In depth P&L Variation analysis and accrual proposal.
- Both Balance Sheet and P&L accounts reconciliation.
- Intercompany reconciliation. IC invoice issuing. Resolve intercompany accounting issues with group counterparts.
- Timely submission of internal reporting to Corporate. Quarterly and Annual Reports.
- Timely submission of Statutory and Audit reports.
- Support banking and treasury related transactions including deposits and cash matching.
- Support Finance Manager on audits, ad hoc reporting and projects
Minimum qualifications

- 3/4 years of Accounting Experience.
- Solid experience in Account Reconciliation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with international offices.
- Experience with US GAAP or IFRS Accounting.
- Prominent organization, communication and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with offshore teams.
Preferred qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus.
- Experience working with Salesforce & Financial Force
