Partner Growth Director

Overview
The Partner Growth Director is responsible for developing an overarching partnership GTM and strategy consistent with the broader organizational growth strategy and revenue objectives. This role focused on expanding and deepening relationships with our existing partners, by showcasing Velir’s offerings, coordinating touchpoints with partner sales and executive teams, and strategically identifying additional opportunities for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic POV of partnerships to drive growth and revenue across all channels
- Identify strategic initiatives to spearhead as well as ones that inform the broader growth team’s day-to-day (e.g., ideas/initiatives to bring to partner managers, campaigns business development pursuits with partner sales reps, etc.)
- Maintain awareness of key industry players and trends – including how competitors and potential partners are using strategic partnerships – resulting in recommendations for targeted initiatives across partnerships, marketing, and sales
- Work with Velir + Brooklyn Data executives, managers, and key team members to establish lead generating partnerships by:
- Developing and fulfilling partner relationship strategies
- Driving strategic initiatives forward (e.g., partner-facing newsletter, targeted joint case studies with partners, partner-focused collateral to enable more co-selling, featuring a partner on the website, getting industry badges from Snowflake, etc.)
- Driving team enablement (e.g., the importance of partner referrals) via documentation, centralized messaging, etc., to ensure recognition with partners and optimize for success in partnerships.
- Support growth and marketing teams internally and externally along strategic touch points with top key partner contacts (e.g., QBRs, monthly syncs with Sitecore leadership, onsite visits, etc.)
- Performance Monitoring: Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of the partnership. Regularly analyze and report on partnership performance to the leadership team.
- Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with legal and finance teams to negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring that terms are favorable to Velir & Brooklyn Data and align with the strategic goals of the partnership.
- Evaluate and consult on potential events and other partner engagements we should take on, keeping our high-level strategy in mind.
- Oversee use of Salesforce to ensure we’re tracking partner revenue.
- Support the creation of content that highlights Velir and Brooklyn Data’s strengths and unique value propositions and differentiators for key partners
- Report on new lead generation against targets on an ongoing basis and share key insights using CRM data with the broader team to help inform our strategy and GTM.
- Maintain and update our tiering of partners to ensure strategic partnerships are being prioritized correctly and new partners are being considered for GTM.
- Continue to evaluate partner relationships and identify areas of opportunity / weakness / risk.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in sales and/or partnerships, business development, or a related role
- Demonstrated ability to lead and identify business development and partnership opportunities within ecosystem partners (Sitecore, Acquia, Snowflake, DBT, Optimizely).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and understand complex technical concepts.
- Critical thinking and listening skills; ability to evaluate opportunities strategically and ensure they connect and deliver against goals.
- Ability to identify and implement solutions to challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills and impeccable attention to detail
- Familiarity with data and/or digital marketing technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, Sitecore, Acquia, Optimizely

- Frequent sitting at a desk performing work on a computer.

Compensation Range: $120,000 135,000 annually
Please note that compensation packages are finalized after the interview process is concluded. We use a competency-based approach to base pay, which means it is based on the competencies and skills demonstrated for this role.
