Harness Your Clinical Experience to Transform Healthcare Delivery

As the Clinical Services Leader at Verana Health, you will help shape the future of healthcare. Reporting to the Senior Director of Practice Experience, you will lead our services focused on delivering Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) consulting to healthcare organizations. Your leadership will promote client engagement, project management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring seamless reporting and optimization for our clients.

You will not only address customer concerns but also guide practices and provider partners through registry and electronic medical record (EMR) integrations. You will foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture that emphasizes innovation and process improvement. Your will align our services with our inspiring company-wide mission.

You will report to the Sr. Director, Practice Experience. This is a remote role.

Employees located within 50 miles from one of our offices (San Francisco, Knoxville, New York) are asked to maintain a hybrid work schedule.

What You Get to Do

  • Strategic Leadership: Stay updated on MIPS regulations and provide expert guidance on strategy and optimization to enhance client success.

  • Project Management: Monitor project timelines, ensuring adherence to deadlines and successful outcomes.

Essential Skills for Success

  • Clinical Practice Experience: An understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory frameworks, and financial management to lead complex projects.

  • Consultative Expertise: Experience in consulting within the healthcare sector with MIPS or quality data reporting.

  • Leadership & Communication: Experience leading a diverse team and working with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Problem Solving: The ability to identify challenges, analyze data, and implement solutions that enhance client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, Public Health, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in a consulting environment specific to MIPS or quality data reporting.

  • Experience with the CMS Quality Payment Program, including electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs) and MIPS Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs).

  • Experience guiding clinicians through MIPS reporting and compliance.

  • Project management skills.

  • Relevant experience in therapeutic areas such as Ophthalmology, Neurology, or Urology.

  • Certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or similar.

  • Project management certifications.

  • Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce preferred).

We pay based on a market-based approach, supported with robust data and in alignment with the compensation of our existing team. We construct our compensation ranges based on the US national average but your pay may vary depending on your location and the cost of living index for that geographic area. In determining an offer, base salary will also be based on experience, qualifications, skills and market conditions.

Please note pay ranges for major metropolitan areas may be different.

National Pay Range

$110,000 - $140,000 USD
