About the Role
As Verkada continues to scale, we’re expanding our Recruiting Operations team to further optimize how we attract, assess, and hire top talent globally. We’re looking for a Senior Recruiting Operations Associate to drive key initiatives that improve recruiter productivity, candidate experience, and overall operational efficiency.
This individual will serve as a critical partner to Recruiting and People Operations, helping design scalable processes, implement and enhance recruiting technologies, and lead high-impact programs focused on hiring effectiveness, data quality, and process optimization.
We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site at our office in San Mateo, CA 5 days a week.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the subject matter expert for recruiting systems (Greenhouse, Workday) and integrations.
- Scope, test, and launch new tools and enhancements that improve recruiter efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and implement process improvements that reduce manual work, shorten time-to-hire and enhance the candidate experience.
- Lead operational programs focused on interviewer effectiveness and offer approval optimization.
- Partner cross-functionally with Recruiting, People Systems, and Business Operations on system and process initiatives.
- Create documentation, training, and communication plans to support adoption of new tools and workflows.
- Collaborate with Recruiting to track KPIs, surface insights, and drive continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in Recruiting Operations or a related function.
- Strong knowledge of ATS/HRIS systems (Greenhouse, Workday) and the recruiting/HR tech ecosystem.
- Proven success improving and scaling recruiting processes through automation and workflow design.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; experience collaborating cross-functionally with technical and non-technical partners.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading implementations or process rollouts.

Annual Pay Range
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
Estimated Annual Pay Range
$100,000 - $145,000 USD
