
Principal Product Designer, Marketing Solutions

As a Principal Product Designer, you'll play a key role in shaping Vimeo's Enterprise Marketing Solutions. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to design innovative tools and features that empower video marketers to create, distribute, and analyze their video content efficiently. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact Vimeo's business by addressing the evolving needs of video professionals in the ever-changing digital landscape. What you’ll do:
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
- You will employ visual systems to ensure that your designs are in harmony with the broader product ecosystem.
- Lead the entire design process for multiple concurrent projects, from inception to launch, as the sole designer for this team, ensuring all products meet the highest quality standards.
- Work with the product team head to craft an engaging product vision for the business unit and establish effective design principles and connections with stakeholders.
- Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, encompassing product management and engineering, to gain insights into both business and user requirements and transform them into product designs.
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
- 5+ years of professional experience in product design.
- Outstanding abilities in interaction design, conversational design, visual design, and product thinking, supported by a robust portfolio featuring web and mobile designs.
- Demonstrated expertise in Figma, robust prototyping abilities coupled with a track record of conducting user research and usability testing to collect feedback and insights that guide design choices.
- Capable of making thoughtful trade-offs and swiftly implementing designs without sacrificing quality.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey design decisions effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Software Engineers, as the sole designer.
- Experience designing user-centered solutions for business-to-business (B2B) products or services.
Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed):
- Experience working with remote or distributed product teams
- Knowledge and experience with motion design and animation
- SaaS experience
