As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, expanding our client base, and developing innovative sales strategies across our marketing, talent, and technology solutions. You will cultivate senior client relationships, drive revenue growth, and work with a high-performing sales team to achieve success

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed revenue targets across all business units (marketing, talent and tech);
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new brand partnerships, and enterprise clients;
  • Cultivate and nurture senior client relationships, steering them towards marketing success using the Viral Nation flywheel of solutions;
  • Conceptualize and pitch transformative marketing strategies that translate Viral Nation’s capabilities into actionable client solutions;
  • Strategize and execute annual account acquisition and year-over-year growth plans;
  • Partner closely with Go-To-Market and the Chief Commercial Officer to conduct in-depth market analyses to seize business opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly;
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure;
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear KPIs and fostering a results-driven culture;
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, talent, tech etc.) to ensure seamless deal execution and client satisfaction;
  • Develop and nurture C-level relationships with key stakeholders across ICP companies;
  • Represent Viral Nation at flagship industry events, conferences, speaking engagements and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and thought leadership leading to sales opportunities;
  • Spearhead growth initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to curate tailor-made solutions to meet or exceed client expectations;
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency by innovating and redefining sales approaches on an ongoing basis;
  • Track sales performance through HubSpot and partner with revenue operations to report key metrics to executive leadership;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience preferably within an influencer marketing agency, or across digital media, advertising, or SaaS industries;
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth;
  • Strong understanding of influencer marketing, brand partnerships, and talent management;
  • Experience in selling SaaS or tech-driven marketing solutions is a plus;
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills;
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performance sales team;
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in sales forecasting, CRM tools, and pipeline management;
  • Possessing an established network of brand and agency contacts is highly desirable.
