Senior Implementation Consultant

To support our continued momentum and our valued customers, Visier is currently seeking SaaS Implementation Consultants to join our growing Customer Experience team. Within this critical customer-facing role, you will work directly with external customers and internal stakeholders throughout the implementation process of our flagship enterprise solution. 

What you'll be doing...

  • Use your consulting skills to maintain B2B customer relationships, gather customer requirements, provide them with technical guidance and direction, and set expectations accordingly
  • Translate and present data requirements clearly and professionally to our customers, enable them to source and provide the required data and to validate their solutions
  • Collaborate with internal team members and key stakeholders, applying technical leadership and expertise to scope, design, and implement creative solutions that meet our customers’ needs at every level of complexity 
  • Leverage expertise in data-warehousing techniques, database management systems and analytic solutions throughout the implementation process
  • In collaboration with Customer Success Managers, Implementation Managers, Advisory Services Consultants, and Solution Architects, proactively own the technical implementation and configuration of multiple, parallel projects, while achieving high-quality results in a timely manner
  • Provide technical leadership, oversight, and feedback to your peers, review their implementations and configurations to ensure high quality of work and best practices are followed
  • Continuously evaluate current tooling, practices, and processes for efficiency, define and champion improvements to how we work
  • Continuously acquire new skills and proactively seek to broaden your expertise and domain knowledge, engage as an early adopter of our ever-evolving platform capabilities and tooling

What you'll bring to the table...

  • Tertiary or additional professional education in a technical discipline such as computer science, engineering, data science/engineering
  • Excellent demonstrable verbal and written communication skills - you strive for transparency, assume positive intent, seek to understand, encourage creative conflict, and thrive on open feedback
  • Minimum 5 years’ worth of experience in analytics which may include working with business intelligence, data visualisation tools e.g. Tableau, MS Power BI), building reports or dashboards
  • Experience in database management systems and data set integrations 
  • Strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
  • You have been a lead consultant (ideally in SaaS implementations) with external clients and are confident in your ability to coach them through multiple solutions for the best possible outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think through complex problems and come up with creative solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple deliverables and stakeholders in parallel with competing levels of priority
  • You are comfortable learning and working autonomously making the most out of the resources at your disposal
  • Able to work remotely and be a collaborative team player that builds positive relationships with other team members
  • Ability to maintain accurate customer documentation and case management records
  • Demonstrated track record of contributing to process improvement

The base pay range for this position is 98k-135k/year + commission. You will be expected to work in eastern time zone. 

The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. Many of our positions are eligible for additional types of compensation (e.g., commission plans, bonus, etc.) which our Talent Acquisition team will share with you if you interview for the role.
