Nurse Practitioners
Nurse Practitioners in Vitable’s Provider Network practice independently or under a supervising physician, using their advanced clinical skills and our EMR platform to deliver compassionate, high-quality primary care tailored to each patient. Providers have the flexibility to set their schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Educate patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff for coordinated care
- Document patient care in electronic health records
- Adhere to all Vitable Health policies and guidelines and complete all training
Candidate Requirements:
- Doctorate or Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Active NP licensure in good standing in two or more of the following states: DC, DE, IL, MD, NJ, PA, OH, TX, FL
- Possess Independent Prescriptive Authority where applicable
- 1+ years of applicable experience in clinical practice, exclusive of orientation/training, with a focus on primary care
- At least 6 months of experience in telemedicine
- Willingness to work 10+ hours per week is a strong plus
- Comfortable providing care synchronously via video
- Strong diagnostic skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Skilled as using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Malpractice insurance
- Valid driver’s license
