Bioprocess Technician (Casual / full time)

The role:

Vow is on the lookout for technicians to join the team for ~4-6 months as we work to establish a new 20kL bioreactor, alongside maintaining an already established bioreactor line (200L, 2000L, 15kL). 

In this role, you would be responsible for performing bioreactor setup tasks (cleaning and sterilisation processes), bioreactor cell culture activities (includes inoculation, media making, harvesting, monitoring, and other daily cell culture tasks).

The ideal candidate will have practical experience within relevant industries, including bioprocessing, brewing or food manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience helping to build the largest cultured meat production line in Australia! 

The experience/skills you will bring:

• Relevant hands-on experience in relevant industries such as bioprocessing, brewing, fermentation, distilling or food manufacturing, either through tertiary study or through practical work experience
• Excels working in a team setting
• Ability to efficiently complete tasks while working in a fast-paced environment
