Strategic Alliances Leader I ISVs

São Paulo

VTEX is a global leader in digital commerce technology, providing innovative solutions for businesses seeking excellence in their online ventures. As the Global Strategic Alliances Leader, you will lead the team responsible for VTEX’s partner ecosystem, acting as a high-level facilitator and strategist to ensure scalable growth, joint value creation, and the removal of operational bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Business and Technical Partner Managers. You are responsible for guiding their professional growth and ensuring the team is aligned with VTEX’s overarching global goals.
  • Strategic Oversight of GTM & Advisory: Oversee the design and execution of joint go-to-market strategies and technical advisory initiatives. Rather than executing the plans, you will validate, approve, and provide strategic guidance to the team (PMs and Technical Advisors) to drive solution adoption and pipeline generation.
  • Cross-functional Leadership & Revenue Unlock: Collaborate with senior leaders across Product, CX, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to align the partner roadmap with VTEX’s core strategy. Your focus is to bridge gaps between departments to accelerate revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence & Blockage Removal: Act as the primary "node-unblocker" for the department. You will identify and resolve friction points that hinder the team’s performance—such as standardizing negotiation templates, defining partnership cost structures, and establishing automated revenue dashboards and KPIs.
  • Ecosystem Strategy & New Frontiers: Identify and unlock new business opportunities and revenue streams that are currently untapped. While the team maintains existing partnerships, you will focus on opening doors to new high-impact alliances and strategic frontiers.
  • Performance Governance: Define the North Star metrics and KPIs for the ecosystem. You will ensure accountability through data-driven analysis and executive business reviews, providing the tools and environment necessary for the team to hit their targets.
  • High-Level Negotiation & Influence: Lead complex commercial discussions and influence decision-making at the executive level, both internally and externally, to maximize long-term value for the VTEX ecosystem.

Profile:

  • Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related fields. A postgraduate degree is highly valued.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and developing diverse teams (business and technical) within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Partnerships & Ecosystem Mastery: Extensive background in strategic alliances, with a track record of scaling ecosystems and driving significant revenue impact.
  • Analytical & Business Profile: Strong business acumen combined with an analytical mindset. You should be comfortable with data-driven decision-making and building the structures (dashboards, processes, KPIs) that support a global operation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex, cross-functional environments to "unstick" projects and align priorities.
  • VTEX & Platform Knowledge: Solid understanding of VTEX capabilities (marketplace, payments, integrations) to effectively guide the team and validate partner strategies.
  • Soft Skills: A proactive leader who is open to feedback, thrives in a collaborative culture, and possesses a "hands-on" approach to problem-solving without micromanaging.
  • Languages: Advanced English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.
