As an Intern on the Engineering team, you will have an opportunity to apply your knowledge and skill to real world projects, positively impact technology development efforts, and grow professionally working closely with other employees & interns at the company.

Description

  • Contribute to the development of new powder metallurgy processes including casting, compacting, machining, coatings.
  • Contribute to materials & magnetics characterization work in Vulcan's laboratory
  • Contribute to the development of core equipment technology, including development of next generation process equipment, tooling, automation & control systems, and quality systems as experience dictates.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program in Materials Engineering, Magnetics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering/science discipline
  • 3+ months of prior applied experience in the lab, a previous internship, or team project
  • Ability to work onsite full time for a minimum of 12 weeks starting May or June 2025
