The Corporate IT team is a central pillar of our growth strategy, and we are looking for a Director, Corporate IT who is observant, collaborative, eager to learn and is excited about developing and leading strategy initiatives.

You’ll be responsible for the desktop, IAM and corporate network experience for all Vultr employees. This is your opportunity to lead this collaborative team and leave your mark on Constant and the future of Cloud Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's business goals, particularly focusing on remote-first operations.
    • Plan, coordinate, and direct all IT-related activities, ensuring the availability, integrity, and security of company data and IT resources.
  2. IT Infrastructure Management:
    • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the company's IT infrastructure, including cloud services, virtual private networks (VPNs), and collaboration tools.
    • Ensure the reliability and performance of all IT systems and services to support a distributed workforce.
  3. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Manage the recruitment, development, and retention of IT staff.
  4. Security and Compliance:
    • Collaborate with the security team to ensure IT infrastructure aligns with the company's cybersecurity policies and protocols.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  5. Vendor and Budget Management:
    • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
    • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
  6. Project Management:
    • Oversee the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  7. Endpoint Management:
    • Oversee the management of employee endpoints, which consist of macOS, Windows, and Linux Desktop systems.
    • Ensure consistent security policies and software updates across all devices.
  8.  Respond to unscheduled critical IT Infrastructure events if they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, Masters preferred.
  • Proven experience as an IT Director or in a similar senior IT leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and services.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with IT budget management and strategic planning.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and relevant regulations.
  • Personal experience as an IC level contributor in Corporate IT
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Remote Tools Expertise:
    • Expert knowledge and management of remote collaboration tools such as GSuite, Mattermost, Slack, Zoom, and other communication platforms.
    • Proficiency in Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.
    • Experience with remote desktop solutions and virtual private networks (VPNs), specifically Palo Alto Networks.
  • SSO and UEM Management:
    • Expertise in Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions such as Okta and Azure AD to ensure secure and seamless access to company resources.
    • Experience with Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) tools like Ivanti
  • Knowledge and experience with Palo Alto Networks VPN solutions.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus.

Compensation: Base Salary $140,000 - $160,000 + Bonus

This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
