The People Operations team is seeking a highly organized and detailed-oriented People Operations Coordinator to provide administrative support across multiple HR functions, including payroll, benefits, compliance, onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, and data management. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth, including the potential to develop specialized expertise as responsibilities expand, and you grow with the team.
What you will take on:
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new team members, including setting up onboarding activities, welcoming them to Vultr via an orientation, and ensuring timely completion of all employment requirements.
- Maintain accurate and updated employee records in HRIS systems.
- Assist in conducting audits of files and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support and assist in payroll processing including, preparing, reviewing, and verifying data to ensure accurate and timely execution.
- Assist with benefits administration, including invoice reconciliation, responding to employee inquiries, and supporting open enrollment.
- Assist in planning and executing virtual employee engagement and wellness activities.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees seeking information on company policies and available benefits.
- Provide additional general administrative support across the People Operations team, as needed.
Our ideal candidate:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a Human Resources/People Operations or administrative role (internship experience considered).
- Interest in HR as a long-term career, with specific interest in developing payroll and benefit expertise.
- Customer service-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in G Suite, Excel, Google Sheets, and familiarity with HRIS/Payroll systems.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with comfort working with data and spreadsheets.
Compensation:
$15-$25/hour
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
