Join Vultr
The People Operations team is seeking a highly organized and detailed-oriented People Operations Specialist to provide administrative support with a primary focus on payroll processing and benefits administration. This role is designed to grow into a subject matter expert in payroll and benefits, taking on increasing ownership of these critical functions as responsibilities expand. While the primary focus is payroll and benefits, this role may also support other HR functions as needed.
What you will take on:
- Support and assist in bi-weekly payroll processing: preparing, reviewing, and verifying data to ensure accurate and timely execution.
- Assist with benefits administration, including invoice reconciliation, enrollment changes, employee inquiries, and supporting annual open enrollment.
- Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and HRIS records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and payroll systems.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees seeking information on payroll, benefits, and company policies.
- Support general HR compliance and reporting requirements.
- Assist with onboarding administration, virtual engagement/wellness activities, and other general administrative support as needed.
Our ideal candidate:
- Minimum of one year of experience in HR, payroll, or benefits administration.
- Strong interest in developing a career in payroll and benefits, detail-oriented and numbers-driven.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, data, and financial/HRIS systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Professional communication and customer service orientation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in G Suite, Excel/Google Sheets, and familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems.
Compensation:
$40,000 - $52,000
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
