Join Vultr
Vultr is seeking a Privacy Risk Analyst reporting to the Director of GRC who will collaborate closely with multiple levels of the business to enhance our dynamic and constantly evolving privacy program. You will help mature the privacy-by-design processes, identify and address gaps, and lead privacy risk assessments in concert with multiple business stakeholders (Engineering, GRC, Legal, Marketing, Product and Technical teams)
What to expect:
- Conduct Confidentiality & Privacy Impact Assessments:
- Perform gap analyses, assess risk and control effectiveness, identify issues for further review, and lead remediation efforts with stakeholders. Ensure quality, accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation of outcomes.
- Collaborate Across Teams:
- Maintain proactive communication with business, engineering, product, and technical stakeholders to ensure applicable privacy controls are addressed and implemented.
- Enhance Privacy Processes:
- Continuously evaluate and improve privacy processes in response to evolving technologies. Track training and awareness through KPIs.
- Support Global Privacy Initiatives:
- Contribute to strategies and projects that strengthen Vultr’s global privacy and confidentiality posture. Present findings and insights to leadership.
- Coordinate with Engineering & GRC:
- Work with Engineering, GRC, and SecOps to define and implement data retention, destruction, and records management programs, and improve incident management.
Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in:
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, GRC and Privacy platforms and tooling.
- Understanding of privacy within the cloud.
- Comprehensive understanding of data mapping, data governance, and/or data inventory.
- Excellent analytical and research skills.
- Proven history of success collaborating with multifaceted compliance, engineering, marketing, product, and technical teams.
- Be a collaborative team player with the ability to execute on independent projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of global privacy frameworks including CCPA, DPDPA, GDPR, HIPAA, LGPD and other regional privacy regulations
- Though not required, it is a bonus if you have a GRC background.
Compensation
$80,000 - $95,000
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
