Join Vultr
Our System Administration team is a central pillar of our platform's operational stability and growth strategy. We are looking for a Junior Linux System Administrator to help meet the growing needs of our customers and platform.
You’ll work closely with customers, other System Administrators, and other teams at Vultr to identify and address issues as they arise as well as anticipate problems and implement solutions before they manifest. Our innovation and industry leadership will engage the right candidate to continuously learn and become proficient in supporting and administering cutting edge products as well as core cloud infrastructure competencies.
What to expect:
- Answering inquiries and educating customers about our products and services.
- First responder to platform level alerts and issues
- Identifying causes and implementing solutions to issues
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve platform problems
- Resolving customer complaints
- Maintaining our customer platform infrastructure
- Dedicated weekly training
- 24/7 team operations. Working shift placement will be at company discretion.
Our new team member will need:
- Experience with Linux Command line
- Basic knowledge of enterprise networking
- The ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Strong communication skills
- An ability to learn and a desire to grow in this entry level position
Compensation
$50,000 - $55,000
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
