About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional grid and driver value through utility EV managed charging and virtual power plant (VPP) programs, focused on California and the West. You will own multiple large deployments and with high accountability across these critical accounts.

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: 

  • Primary: Own enterprise utility client program growth activities for your assigned clients, including: 
    • Client Growth: Serve as the primary point of contact for contracted and ongoing client programs, centered on the WeaveGrid SaaS platform  
      • Lead internal and client team coordination to launch newly contracted programs
      • Execute driver enrollment growth activities, aligning client-, partner-, and WeaveGrid-led efforts  
    • Client Program Delivery and Engagement:
      • Lead ongoing meetings and on-site workshops with the client  
      • Maintain account delivery plan and execute against the plan  
      • Proactively share data-driven insights with clients
      • Interface with program evaluation and reporting efforts, including with 3rd party evaluation partners and/or regulators as necessary  
      • Triage client issue resolution; coordinate incident resolution and client communications  
    • Cross-functional Collaboration & Internal Alignment: Serve as the single-threaded internal owner of account success
      • Balance internal and external priorities, keeping all key stakeholders aligned on achieving shared goals; Manage client expectations concerning products and services
      • Collaborate with Marketing on scalable driver enrollment campaigns and innovative local engagements 
      • Coordinate with WeaveGrid’s Solution Design and Integrations team on non-standard projects, e.g., SSO integration and other IT implementations that support the objectives of the program
      • Work with Product to identify and roll-out opportunities to increase conversion and retention for your programs 
  • Secondary: Other duties as assigned, which include: 
    • Business & Market Development: Support account extension and expansion work in coordination with other WeaveGrid team members for your assigned enterprise clients. This includes developing a deep understanding of the client's needs and proactively identifying areas where WeaveGrid could help. Activities may include:
      • Coordinate with internal regulatory teams to support managed charging program approval via the regulatory process
      • Work with the Market Development team to develop case studies, award applications, and conference presentations 
      • Coordinate with WeaveGrid’s business development team 
      • Contribute utility client-specific knowledge for RFX proposals, bid defenses, and SOWs for existing clients 
    • Be a team player in a fast-moving company: Additional assignments could include internal process creation, sales support for prospective clients, or other opportunities to step up

  • You are experienced at managing large, enterprise clients and building ongoing business relationships with a clear focus on the highest-impact opportunities; this means driving client timelines while being a respectful but outcome-driven solution-seeker on behalf of WeaveGrid
  • You can break any project into its component parts and solve for the critical path, whether it is an IT implementation or a marketing initiative
  • You are excited to take a lead role in program marketing planning and execution to help clients recruit end users
  • Your adaptability stems from having applied formal and informal education and training across multiple domains and experiences, especially in fluid, fast-paced environments
  • You are a highly effective communicator

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-time experience working in some combination of enterprise client success, program implementation, management consulting, energy, utilities, or related areas 
  • Experience managing high-value enterprise contracts and customers with multiple stakeholders externally and internally
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex clients and projects simultaneously, while flexibly taking on a variety of tasks in response to immediate needs 
  • Proficiency in modern software tools (e.g. Gsuite, MS Office, Slack, HubSpot, etc.) and at least some exposure to program management tools like JIRA; content management systems (CMS) like Sanity; analytics/reporting tools like Mode
  • Based in the United States, willing to travel 1 to 2 weeks per month at times 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain expertise in one or some of: electric mobility, electric utilities, enterprise software systems, SaaS delivery
  • Experience working with Utilities on customer-facing programs, especially in California or in similar regulatory environments
  • Experience delivering both client and user success in B2B2C environments
  • Experience in IT implementation 

The total compensation for this opportunity includes a base salary range of $110,000 - $160,000 plus equity (stock options) and benefits. This is our target compensation range and is subject to multiple factors including role, level, experience, and location. Please note that WeaveGrid may not necessarily hire individuals at or near the top of the base salary range. As you go through our interview process, our recruiter will work with you to identify a competitive base salary within the proposed range and combine it with an equity package to get you excited about your future at WeaveGrid.
