Overview:
The Revenue Insights Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-informed decisions that optimize revenue performance and shape go-to-market strategy across the organization. Partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams, this role uncovers key trends, models business outcomes, and delivers insights that drive topline growth. Combining hands-on analytics, robust SQL expertise, and cross-functional collaboration, the analyst translates complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that guide strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
The impact you'll make:
- Analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and revenue trends across markets, channels, and product lines to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Partner with Sales and Finance to model growth scenarios, assess ROI on strategic initiatives, and identify margin improvement opportunities.
- Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and visualizations that track key business metrics and performance indicators.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance data literacy and enable self-service analytics across the organization.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries within Snowflake to support analytics, reporting, and data warehouse maintenance, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility in partnership with data engineering and business systems teams.
- Conduct pricing, segmentation, and market penetration analyses to inform go-to-market strategies and resource allocation decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to refine forecasting accuracy, quota design, and territory optimization.
- Deliver clear, executive-ready insights and strategic narratives that inform quarterly business reviews, annual planning, and key business decisions.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity, proactively identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve reporting processes and data systems.
What you've accomplished:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in business analytics, revenue operations, or financial modeling — ideally within SaaS, technology, or cannabis-related industries.
- Strong background in data analytics, business modeling, and storytelling through numbers — with the ability to distill complex data into actionable recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
- Advanced SQL (experience with Snowflake preferred) for data extraction and analysis.
- Strong experience with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Proven ability to connect data-driven insights to business strategy and communicate with non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and sound business judgment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys collaborating across functions to turn data into action.
Bonus points:
- Experience in revenue finance, sales analytics, or market modeling within a high-growth tech or regulated environment.
- Understanding of the cannabis technology landscape, including compliance, advertising, or marketplace dynamics.
- Familiarity with forecasting, churn analysis, or dynamic pricing models.
The base pay range for this position is $99,344.00- $115,664.00 per year
