Operations Internship (Part-Time)

Position: Operations Intern (Part-Time)
Reporting To: Associate Project Manager, Platform Operations
Location: Chapel Hill, NC
Start Date: June 2, 2025 - August 8, 2025, with the expectation that this role will work 30 hrs/week over the summer
Compensation: $20 per hour
Position Summary
As part of the Operations Team, the primary mission is to develop, refine, and operationalize new and existing processes to support Well’s goal to offer end-to-end health and wellness support for all members to improve total health and reduce costs.
- Support workflow development and requirements build out for an upcoming client launch
- Take ownership of essential operational tasks to fulfill the Client’s member registration and program completion requirements
- Collaborate with the Member Services team to develop operational workflows and training documents for program delivery in alignment with the Client requirements
- Assist with team training and preparation for Client launch
- Collaborate and work closely with stakeholders across the company, including the Content Operations and Client Operations teams to implement new workflows and iterate on improvements to enhance efficiency and meet evolving business needs
- Contribute to the success of the organization by ensuring smooth and efficient operations for the upcoming client launch, directly supporting key business objectives and impacting the member experience
- Work closely with senior leadership, gaining exposure to high-level strategic initiatives, organizational decision-making, and a deeper understanding of the business landscape
- Take personal responsibility for keeping all Well systems and data, including sensitive member data, secure and safe, according to Well data and security policies and HIPAA guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled undergraduate students or Bachelor’s Degree recipients
- Industry knowledge or interest in operations, healthcare, public health, and/or healthtech
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive and flexible self-starter who is willing to learn, adjust and adapt
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, maintaining focus on efficiency and consistent improvement
- Attention to detail, management of deliverable timeline
