Product Manager

Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid

About Wellth:

Wellth is a fast-growing, growth-stage digital health company headquartered in Los Angeles. Our mission is to motivate people living with chronic conditions to make healthier choices, every single day.

We use behavioral economics, habit science and technology to motivate lasting behavior change in some of the highest need and most underserved populations in the US (Medicare and Medicaid), drastically changing their quality of life and health outcomes. We have demonstrated results with several large insurers and health systems (e.g. reducing hospitalizations by over 40%), and are now rapidly scaling. Our goal is to be the category leader in improving health outcomes for hard-to-engage populations. A key difference at Wellth compared to other digital health companies is that our users (Members) actually use Wellth every single day - think TikTok tier daily engagement (and data generation!).

But most importantly, our work quite literally saves lives by stabilizing chronic disease patients and preventing disease progression, hospitalization, and other bad outcomes. We are a mission-driven company where you work with incredible talent and see tangible differences directly from your impact and influence.

Visit us at www.wellthapp.com for more information.

About the Role:

As Product Manager at Wellth, you will be contributing directly and visibly to our behavior change product. You will interface directly with current users, future users and churned users to form a complete understanding of product successes and opportunities. You will do quantitative analysis to spot issues and opportunities and back your research with qualitative user research to understand the “why” behind actions and behaviors. Retention will be a primary goal, and you will add depth to our product journey and explore new use cases. You will be highly organized and detail-oriented as you work closely with UX, Design and Engineering, and deliver high-quality work at high velocity.

This is a demanding, energetic role for individuals who love to do discovery, can’t stop asking questions, dive into data, understand architecture, love to do research, follow up and organize what happens next across a user journey. Our product roles don’t passively gather requirements, they don’t just manage a nice and neat roadmap forward, and they don’t sit quietly and exclusively review data. But if you want to establish and hold influence across a quickly growing company, solve real problems that matter in healthcare, get technical with engineers, creative with marketers and designers, strategic with customers, and be part of a very different approach to motivating healthy behaviors, this might be the role for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze product funnels and conduct quantitative research to uncover opportunities for improving user acquisition, activation, and retention
  • Implement and launch product experiments to enhance engagement and long-term retention
  • Help drive improvements to our AI chatbot, ensuring a high-quality and personalized experience for users
  • Collaborate with member support and acquisition teams to solve product problems, gather insights and translate them into actionable product solutions
  • Ensure product changes are well communicated, documented and set up for success

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years experience as a product manager; preferably on a B2C app, in healthcare and/or at a startup
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to make decisions based on quantitative and qualitative research
  • Ideally experience launching A/B tests and product experiments
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and structured in approach to problem-solving
  • Goal oriented - launching a feature isn’t the goal, it’s driving results
  • Enthusiasm about organizing and building out user journey content
  • High detail orientation - you love to capture ideas, action items, and make sure things get done whether you do them or you collaborate with others
  • Relentlessly considers ways to make things better in ways that truly matter - does not spend time optimizing on little things out on the margins
  • Constantly evangelizes what you are working on, why, what it means for different audiences, and how it connects to our mission
  • Platform mentality - how do we build products that scale, not services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Local to Los Angeles strongly preferred
  • Expertise in health data, including quality and cost-related measures

You will enjoy working with us at Wellth.

The benefits of working with us include:

  • Flexible working arrangements, supporting strong remote-first practices and tools with the option to work in our excellent gathering space in Marina Del Rey.
  • Robust paid time off and generous parental leave program.
  • Competitive salary & commission structure.
  • Health, dental, vision insurance, and FSA/HSA plans.
  • Ability to have a positive impact on people who need it most.
  • Support of a highly dedicated team focused on building the future of healthcare.

Comp range: $130k-$170k

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
