Caregiver – Brooklyn, NY

A family in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a compassionate, reliable part-time caregiver to support their 86-year-old father living independently in a smoke-free, pet-free home. The ideal caregiver will provide warm companionship, mobility support, and daily personal care assistance to help maintain a safe and comfortable daily routine.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM (20 hours/week)

Family Specifications:

Smoke-free household
Pet-free home

Responsibilities:

Provide engaging companionship and supportive care for an individual with dementia
Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including toileting and grooming
Provide standby assistance with ambulation and overall mobility safety
Plan and prepare daily meals
Light housekeeping - vacuum, clean toilet used by the client, light laundry

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in senior caregiving, including personal hygiene and mobility assistance

Preferred:

Experience caring for individuals with dementia

Compensation:

$25.00 – $27.00 per hour
