Part Time Child Caregiver (Driving Required) – Glen Ridge, NJ

A welcoming family in Glen Ridge, NJ is seeking a reliable, punctual part-time caregiver to assist with morning and afternoon school transportation for their young child. The household is smoke-free and includes one friendly small dog.

Schedule:

• Days: Monday through Thursday
• Hours: Split shift, 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Morning pick-up at 8:15 AM; Evening pick-up at 5:15 PM)
• Estimated Weekly Hours: Approximately 4 hours per week (around 1 hour per day)

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Pets: One small dog (20 lb terrier) in the home

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe transportation for the child to and from school (between Glen Ridge, NJ and Little Falls, NJ)
• Ensure proper car seat installation and child safety during transit
• Maintain punctual drop-off and pick-up timing

Requirements:

• Relevant child care or driving experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Personal vehicle for transportation with up-to-date auto insurance

Compensation:

• $26-$30 per hour
