Construction Project Manager

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop work scopes, solicit bids, conduct scope reviews and negotiate subcontracts
- Communicate with client on project issues to assure client satisfaction
- Develop and maintain overall project schedules; work with all parties to avoid delays
- Assure the timely review/processing of submittals, pay applications and other project documentation
- Manage Subcontractors; coordinate/communicate with subs in a professional manner
- Prepare project reports, including cost reports, monthly reports and schedule updates
- Facilitate RFI resolution with Owner and design team
- Oversees change order management process
- Responsible for the overall project financial management
- Support project team on overall project requirements
- Support bid pursuits, proposal preparation and new client development
- Develops and adheres to project quality control plan
- Collaborates with the design team from project initiation to completion
BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS:
- Engineering or Construction Management undergraduate degree required
- Masters in CM a plus
- 5+ years Project Management experience on commercial/institutional projects
- OSHA 30 a plus
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with project management, trade contractors, architects and engineers and the ability to resolve issues with minimal supervision.
- Experience with bidding work, developing work scopes, subcontractor management project scheduling and cost reporting required.
- Microsoft Office Suite required
- Microsoft Project expected
- Procore and CMiC knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling, Revit software desired.
