We’re seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP) Consultant to join our Management Consulting Services practice.

The Microsoft Dynamics Consultant can be based out of any of our U.S. office locations (New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Boston, MA; Braintree, MA; Woburn, MA; Princeton, NJ; Whippany, NJ; East Brunswick NJ; Red Bank, NJ; Saddle Brook, NJ; Providence, RI; Baltimore, MD; Bethesda, MD; Nashville, TN; Boca Raton, FL; Orlando, FL; San Diego, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Orange County, CA; San Francisco, CA; San Ramon, CA; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA). The in-office expectation nis 3 days per week.

The Microsoft Business Central (ERP) Consultant role will work directly with clients to help them design and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with an overarching objective to achieve the business improvements behind why they chose to invest in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to run their company.

The Management Consulting Services practice is aligned to the firm’s purpose which is to become our client’s catalyst for growth and success by providing specific technical and operations acumen aligned with various business system products across many industry verticals. We essentially fix how companies function by addressing some if not all of the following four dynamics: People, Process, Technology and Data.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Demonstrating knowledge of product while supporting requirements definition workshops, design documentation, configuration, testing, training, and ultimately supporting the deployment of the solution into a production state.
  • Demonstrating problem solving techniques to succinctly organize facts and recommendations to optimize the ERP implementation process.
  • Develop personal networks towards establishing long term relationships leading to new business opportunities.
  • Establishing project governance and collaboration with other project team members and contractors to ensure successful delivery of client projects through entire implementation lifecycle (Analyze/Design, Build/Test, Deploy and Support) .
  • Supporting cross-functional teams to develop and execute project deliverables, including technical components (i.e. security requirements, functional and technical specification docs for customizations, integrations, data conversions. Etc.).
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with business and functional team members to align objectives, resources and expectations.
  • Working with leadership to refine current program management and implementation strategy, processes, tools, techniques and bring forward lessons learned with execution challenges/barriers to success.
  • Effectively utilizing project management, reporting and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Power Point, Visio, SharePoint to accomplish the following:
    1. Manage work plan activities assigned;
    2. Manage time budgets and prepare estimate to complete task forecast;
    3. Incorporate change management into project execution approaches;
    4. Report and manage project issues to resolution;
    5. Report and manage project risks;

The Kinds pf People We Want to Talk to Have Many of the Following:

  • 3 to 4 years of experience with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP implementations.
  • Exceptional communication skills within internal and client facing environments.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and/or Information Technology.
  • Functional business process knowledge in order to collaborate on business processes for ERP solution.
  • Strong data management skills.
  • Must possess strong analytical and communication skills and a risk mitigation mindset.
  • Must possess consensus building skills, drive decision making processes effectively and manage demanding client personalities (i.e. conflict management).
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with team members to deliver an ERP, CRM or eCommerce Software solution.

Pluses:

  • Certified Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultant.
  • Worked using waterfall and agile implementation methodologies.
  • Software as a Service (SaaS) or Cloud experience.
  • An aptitude to learn new technologies.

The compensation for this position will vary by location. If you reside in California, New York City, Washington D.C., Washington State, Maryland, or Rhode Island please see below. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications. NYC ranges are $80,000 – $110,000 annually
California ranges are $80,000 – $110,000 annually
Washington - Seattle ranges are $80,000 – $110,000 annually
Washington DC ranges are $80,000 – $110,000 annually
Maryland - Baltimore ranges are $80,000 – $110,000 annually
Rhode Island – Providence ranges are $80,000 – $110,000 annually
Massachusetts - Boston, Braintree, Woburn ranges are $80,000 – $110,000 annually
