Position Overview
Bermello Ajamil, a Woolpert Company (BA) is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to work in our Coral Gables office.
The Senior Civil Engineer will be the lead technical design engineer working with the team to deliver flawlessly executed projects to our clients. The Senior Civil Engineer will direct plan production, perform and review design calculations, and assist the project team with a variety of site/civil land development engineering projects supporting private market stakeholders. Our Site/Civil Design Engineer will work alongside project managers to lead the design of site layouts, utilities, sanitary and storm sewer, grading and earthwork, erosion control, stormwater management systems and stormwater pollution prevention plans.

What You Will Do:
As a Senior Civil Engineer at BA, you will:
- Work alongside project managers to lead the design
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans and grading plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure project objectives (scope, schedule, deliverables) are met in accordance with established metrics
- Provide technical expertise in site/civil design, hydrology/hydraulics, erosion and sedimentation control, and stormwater management
- Coordinate permitting with County and local municipalities. Experience with local municipalities is a plus.
- Work with project management team to identify challenges and develop and implement solutions
What You Will Bring:
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field
- 15+ years related experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required
- Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Proven experience with codes and regulations, interpreting plans, designing storm water facilities, site grading and local and state permitting for land disturbance
- Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking and Storm and Sanitary Analysis software packages, PondPack, and Microsoft Suite products
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to provide excellent client service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment
- Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Pay Range
$125,300 - $208,800 USD
