We are seeking a highly experienced and registered Professional Building Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing mechanical systems for building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy-efficient solutions for commercial, residential, and institutional developments.

What You Will Do:
- Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering design for building services projects of significant scope and complexity.
- Develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems aligned with sustainability and energy efficiency standards.
- Provide technical direction across multiple building projects and disciplines.
- Apply advanced engineering principles to deliver high-quality, compliant designs.
- Guide project planning, definition, and execution phases.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, industry events, and technical forums.
- Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and site inspections for building services.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc Eng / BEng / MSc Eng).
- Registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) with ECSA.
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in building mechanical systems design.
- Demonstrated expertise in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy-efficient solutions for large-scale developments (e.g., universities, hotels, residential and commercial buildings).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and discipline-specific software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC design software).
- Ability to interpret complex technical documents and communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.
