Responsibilities

We seek an exceptional Solutions Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will enable our clients to become proficient on Workato’s Agentic Platform, empowering their employees and building AI Agent solutions for their business.

You will also be responsible to:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional customer teams, including data scientists and software engineers, AI leaders, and Architects, to show how Workato Agentic can change their work.

  • Effectively team with Sales AEs, Solution Architects, and other functions to evangelize our Agentic and AI capabilities, our approach to delivering Workato Agent solutions and AI infused use cases, and architecture tailored to the customer’s AI use cases.

  • Articulate and educate on AI, Generative AI and Agentics architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including digital leaders, AI engineer, prompt developers, data architects, enterprise architects, IT ops and line of business, marketing Ops, Finance Ops, People Ops etc.

  • Assist sales teams with technical discovery with customer prospects and be able to architect/build Agentic blue print solutions using Workato products.

  • Create and deliver custom product demonstrations AI Agentic use cases.

  • Support solution accounts to execute technical workshops and proof of concepts (POCs), on-site or remote.

  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.

  • Stay updated on the latest Agentics, AI and machine learning advancements, research papers, and tools, incorporating them into AI development projects.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in AI development.

  • Proven track record as an AI Engineer, with portfolio examples of successful machine learning or AI projects.

  • 3-5 years of pre-sales experience in a SaaS/iPass organization.

  • 50% travel will be needed to support customers and internal workshops

  • 60% of your time will be customer-facing.

  • Familiarity with LLMs and has directly interacted with the development or support of chat based AI applications.

  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, function calling, chain of prompt reasoning, and other state of the art techniques to improve LLM behavior and performance.

  • Hands-on experience using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Amazon Bedrock and Anthropic. Good working knowledge of these APIs as opposed to just chat based interfaces like Claude and ChatGPT.

  • Hands-on experience with iPaaS technologies, middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, SDKs, and Databases.

  • Knowledge of python programming (or understanding/familiarity with object-oriented programming).

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to a non-technical audience.

  • Fast learner who can independently conduct extensive research, and synthesize ideas, information and options quickly.

  • Be proactive about solving problems and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
