As a Senior Cloud Specialist focused on DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure within the Technology Operations team, you will have the opportunity work on a wide range of challenges impacting Workleap’s entire business – all the way from observability to cloud architecture to CI/CD pipelines and more.
You will build infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and observability enablement through OpenTelemetry best practices to evangelize centralized foundation for all software teams working within Workleap. You will contribute innovatively to grow a self-serve catalog that will be available to developers that enables them to provision the necessary infrastructure components, permissions, and more, while ensuring we remain compliant with our security and reliability standards, effectively reducing toil and cognitive load for both developers and your peers.
- You will act as a Cloud Operations expert for the team and a DevOps reference for all teams within the Technology organization.
- You will solve problems by designing infrastructure and tools with an "as-code" mindset.
- You will contribute to various initiatives depending on the most relevant priority for Workleap.
- You will contribute to the creation and maintenance of a permission model and tools to allow other teams to manage their environment in a secure and reliable manner.
- You will be in the day to day of the Technology Operations team, meaning participating in the different agile events, prioritizing work, setting incremental objectives, and resolving service requests and incidents.
You will have an impact by adopting a product mindset and by playing the following way:
- By interacting with development teams to understand their needs.
- By maintaining the same product mindset as other teams on the owned infrastructure and code: Build it, ship it, run it.
- By being accountable of the services your team offers.
- By relying on fast prototyping techniques and involving other team’s members for fast feedback on what works and what does not.
- By being a strong advocate and having strong opinions to help set, evolve, and evangelize best practices and guidelines relating to technology, architecture, and security.
