Workrise is hiring a Senior Marketing Operations Manager who will be responsible for designing, building, executing, analyzing, tracking, and continuously improving marketing campaigns and driving operational excellence within the marketing team. Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is analytical, flexible, and great at program management. This person will be proactive and curious, and will have expert problem-solving and experimentation skills. This role will be exempt and will report to the Sr. Director, Marketing. This role has the unique opportunity to define how we build and optimize our systems and processes in order to create the foundation for future growth at Workrise.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning the strategy for the marketing technology stack to ensure that we are using our technology effectively and that it is driving business value
- Technology governance, training and adoption
- Identifying and building the most optimal workflows between marketing tech, sales tech, and product tech
- Continuously improving workflows
- Managing the automation systems that support marketing campaigns
- Ensuring the ability to track marketing effectiveness and performance metrics
- Building and executing campaigns in partnership with the demand gen, brand and product marketing teams
- Supporting with campaign planning to ensure that workflows work within the tech stack and that it is set up to collect key performance metrics
- Designing lead scoring & attribution methodologies and implementing them
- Program managing the construction and launch of the campaigns to ensure a timely launch that meets the goals/requirements of the strategy set out by the team
- Facilitating accurate and actionable marketing data and reporting that can be used to improve data-driven decisions for marketing and the business
- Building the reporting that is used to measure marketing performance and ROI in a consumable way for not only the marketing team to leverage but company leadership to view
- Ensuring that every campaign has accurate, meaningful and actionable data attached to it
- Owning weekly analysis of all active campaigns, identifying where successes are and where improvements can be made, and working through plans to execute on improvements with campaign leaders in order to achieve campaign goals
- Leading the measurement of post campaign readouts and analysis
- Owning the execution of all email marketing
- Oversee the email calendar and testing roadmap across all marketing teams including product marketing, lifecycle marketing, demand generation/acquisition, customer experience and product
- Execute the email campaigns within Hubspot including segment building, creative testing, etc.
- Manage the strategy for AB testing and execute AB tests in partnership with marketing leads. Execute test strategies on content, timing, segmentation and frequency to ensure that emails perform
- Ensure the quality of emails sent to prospects and customers and ensure that we optimize emails for delivery and inbox placement
- Track and analyze email performance KPIs and make recommendations to drive increased performance and/or revenue
- Create, update and maintain transactional, nurture and trigger email campaigns
- Managing the Workrise website
- Manage all updates to the website and suggest changes to key stakeholders
- Identify and track the key performance indicators on the website and make suggestions to improve performance
- Manage the website budget and development resources
- Ensuring and maintaining a clean and healthy marketing database that can be leveraged for driving revenue
- Partnering across marketing, sales, and pex to understand the right structures that are required in our automation database
- Building the structure within the database that enables it to be leveraged as a source of truth
- Cleaning the database and ensuring that data collection processes maintain its cleanliness
- Monitoring the data quality within the database regularly
- Managing prospect and customer compliance and consent information
- Support marketing team optimization
- Project managing the quarterly and annual strategic planning exercises
- Ensure that the team has the benchmarks it needs to effectively develop a financial plan
- Owning a repository of content, creative, ads, and documents for easy recall of what is live and in market
- Owning the marketing confluence page
- Owning team onboarding materials
- Support sales and marketing process development
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-7 years of experience working in Marketing Operations role connecting systems, reporting, and optimizing
- B2B Demand Generation Experience is a must
- Hubspot marketing automation, salesforce, and demandbase experience a must
- Proficiency in setting up sophisticated automations and integrating systems with other technologies, like Salesforce
- Proficiency in Google Analytics
- Exposure to advertising platforms that would be integrated into the tech stack and reporting: Demandbase/6Sense, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook
- Technically capable and a desire to document and improve processes
- Highly data-driven and leverages analytics and quantitative methods to inform and influence decision making
- Strong organizational skills
- Courageous, discerning, curious and agile - believes there are always better ways to get things done
- Scrappy when needed and calm in the face of chaos/unexpected curveballs
- Proactive in flagging things ahead of time, asking questions and moving with urgency
- Ability to think ahead, build in a buffer to avoid things being crunched in the 11th hour, make clear asks with deadlines when he/she has dependencies
- Flexible and willing to build a MOPs function that works for Workrise. Advocates for best practices but have the flexibility to adapt those best practices for the context they’re operating in

- Has served as a demand generation or product marketing role as well in the past
