About the Team

The Central Operations Team defines the service design for the Worldcoin project, ensuring operational excellence at scale. We drive end-to-end Operator Experience, Operator-facing communications, learning, quality and compliance in the field.

About the Opportunity

In this role, you will coordinate multiple translation workstreams, improve and operationalize processes, manage human reviews, vendors, and software, and most importantly, advocate for translations and localization excellence across the company. You will work simultaneously with internal and external partners across departments on multiple translation projects. You are naturally organized, thrive in chaos, and are passionate about cross-cultural communication, localization, and accessibility. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Development and Improvement: Establish robust self-service processes to meet translation needs across Product, Customer Experience (CX), Marketing, and Operations teams. Proactively identify and execute high-standard process improvements.
  • Translation Management: Oversee translation activities across global languages, ensuring timely updates and completions.
  • Human Reviews Oversight: Manage internal and external points of contact responsible for providing timely human reviews of machine translations.
  • Tool Utilization: Utilize and manage various translation software tools to optimize workflows.
  • Brand Consistency: Convey brand tone of voice to translation vendors and AI models and manage glossary hygiene.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams including legal, marketing, product, CX, communications, and policy to ensure seamless and detail-oriented translation processes.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for translation excellence within the company, emphasizing its role in regulatory compliance and user accessibility.

About You

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in translation coordination, content, and project management.
  • Vendor and AI Experience: Experience with translation vendors and AI machine translations.
  • Skills: Strong communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Cross-Cultural Competency: Proven ability in cross-cultural communication and localization efforts.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Independence and Ownership: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance, demonstrating independence and taking extreme ownership of your work.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience in copywriting and the technical implementation of translation software.
