Job Description: Senior Commercial Profile
Position Overview
We are seeking a Chartered Accountant to manage a Senior Commercial Profile. This role is designed for finance professionals with strong commercial acumen who can handle contractual and compliance-related work without requiring a formal legal background. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and supporting business operations with sound financial and commercial judgment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts, commercial paperworks, SoWs, NDAs, Bank Guarantees and SoWs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under applicable commercial and corporate laws.
- Work closely with the internal legal department for specialized legal matters and closure of commercial contracts.
- Collaborate with the global legal team to align contractual practices with international standards.
- Partner with the CFO to provide commercial and financial insights into contractual obligations and risks.
- Support negotiations with vendors, clients, and partners from a financial and compliance perspective.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all contracts and related correspondence.
- Assist in dispute resolution and claims management from a commercial standpoint.
- Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, procurement, and legal advisors) to ensure smooth execution of contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, company laws, contract laws, and compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of corporate governance and statutory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret legal documents and translate them into actionable commercial strategies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in managing commercial contracts and compliance in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with the Contract laws, Companies Act, and other relevant commercial laws.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
