Role Summary and Impact

The Accounting Associate is a key role responsible for analyzing and verifying all accounting and financial movements and transactions within the company. This position ensures the accurate and complete preparation of financial reports and statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and national/group regulations. The analyst's work is crucial for providing reliable, useful, and timely financial information to management, directly supporting strategic decision-making and robust internal control across the organization.

Skills and Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar accounting positions, preferably within service companies.
• (Desirable) Experience working for media agencies.
• Proven experience in the preparation of financial reports and accounting information.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding and application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Knowledge of NICS, IFRS, and Peruvian tax legislation.
• Proficiency in account analysis, intercompany reconciliations (ICM), and audited financial statement reconciliations.
• Experience with the preparation, registration, and review of recurrent provisions (journal entries, depreciation, reconciliation follow-up).
• Ability to update working papers for monthly reports (account analysis, P&L, SOX controls).
• Experience in the elaboration of annual financial statements (EEFF) and notes for annual audits.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (familiarity with Condor ERP is a plus).
• Ability to ensure compliance with national and group regulations.
