About the Role:

As a Business Assistant on the Global Media Team, you will be the indispensable right-hand person, fulfilling a multifaceted role that spans executive support, team assistance, and global project management. This position involves managing fluid administrative tasks for the Global Chief Media Officer, supporting the Detroit team under the USA Client President, and orchestrating strategic initiatives globally for the Global Strategy Lead. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high energy, foresight, and exceptional organizational acumen to efficiently drive key business priorities forward, particularly across cross-functional projects like Open Media Studio.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Executive Assistant > Global Chief Media Officer:

  • Manage intricate calendars, schedule meetings across multiple time zones.
  • Screen calls/emails, and draft team and client communications with clarity and elegance.

2. Team Assistant > USA Client President (Detroit Team):

  • Organize domestic and international travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and detailed itineraries.
  • Own internal reporting/timesheet adherence, and expense reports.
  • Manage confidential records and file systems.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and gatekeeper for the Detroit campus.
  • Liaise with internal staff, clients, and external [media owner] partners to ensure smooth communication and prioritized access to the team.

3. Global Project Management > Global Strategy Lead (Strategic Initiatives):

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global media [and creative agency] teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
  • Effectively communicate project status risks, and issues to all stakeholders and senior management.
  • Tracking and maintain global staffing lists and organizing training schedules for WPP Open Media Studio.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in an executive assistant role and experience in project management or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with diverse stakeholders.
  • High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and project management tools/platforms.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work autonomously and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. US Pay Range

$40,000 - $85,000 USD
