Role Overview

Responsible for developing insight-driven content strategies that connect brand objectives with audience behavior across platforms. Content Planner plays a key role in shaping content direction, ensuring relevance, consistency, and performance across the consumer journey while collaborating closely with media, creative, and KOL teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop full-funnel content strategies aligned with campaign and business objectives
  • Define content roles across platforms (Social, Video, KOL, Digital Ecosystem)
  • Translate media plans into clear content direction and messaging frameworks
  • Support both always-on content and key campaign/launch moments

2. Content Development & Execution

  • Create content briefs, key messages, and storytelling angles for campaigns
  • Ensure content consistency across channels while adapting formats per platform
  • Work closely with creative, social, and KOL teams to bring ideas to life
  • Monitor content delivery to ensure alignment with strategy and timelines

3. Data-Led Content Optimization

  • Analyze content performance (engagement, views, CTR, conversions)
  • Identify insights on what content works, what doesn’t, and why
  • Recommend optimizations and content iterations based on data
  • Leverage trends, platform algorithms, and audience behavior in planning

4. KOL & Social Content Integration

  • Support KOL/content creator strategy and briefing
  • Align KOL content with brand messaging and campaign objectives
  • Ensure integration between paid media and organic/social content
  • Collaborate with influencer/KOL teams for content amplification

5. Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with media planners to align content with channel strategy
  • Collaborate with creative, social, and performance teams for execution
  • Ensure content plans are feasible within timelines, budgets, and platform requirements
  • Support Planning Manager/Group Heads in campaign development and presentations

6. Client & Stakeholder Support

  • Prepare content strategy decks, ideas, and rationale
  • Present content direction and explain strategic thinking to clients
  • Support ongoing content performance reviews and recommendations

 

Key Capabilities & Skills

  • Strong understanding of content strategy and social media ecosystems
  • Ability to translate business objectives into engaging content ideas
  • Familiarity with platform formats (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret content performance metrics
  • Strong storytelling and briefing skills
  • Structured thinking with attention to detail
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities

 

Basic Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in content planning, social media, or digital marketing
  • Experience working with content, KOLs, or campaign-based projects
  • Understanding of digital platforms and content formats
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
