WPP’s Content+ team is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional with a passion for innovation, storytelling, and branded content creation. If you have 5+ years of experience in content marketing and a track record of developing engaging brand narratives, we want to hear from you!
As the Director, Content+, you will lead content-driven initiatives and strategic partnerships for one of India’s largest automotive brands, alongside other national and global brands. This role demands a deep understanding of the content marketing ecosystem and the ability to develop compelling content strategies that drive engagement and brand impact.
Reporting: This role reports to the Content+ Lead for the relevant portfolio
What You’ll Do
- Lead the ideation, development, and execution of cross-platform content strategies based on client objectives and market insights.
- Develop innovative, platform-neutral content ideas that align with brand storytelling and audience engagement.
- Identify, pitch, and implement branded content opportunities across TV, digital, social, experiential, and influencer-driven platforms.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including clients, creative teams, media partners, and platforms to bring content campaigns to life.
- Track, measure, and optimize content performance to drive continuous improvement and ROI.
- Manage end-to-end project execution, including budgeting, negotiations, deal closures, and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive best practices and thought leadership in branded content strategy.
What You Bring
- A creative thinker and storyteller with experience in brand building, content strategy, and campaign execution.
- Strong ability to translate insights from market and consumer data into actionable content opportunities.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills - ability to sell ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Strong excel skills – Should be able to create Gantt, Campaign Journey, Reports and Proposals on excel.
- A collaborative mindset with leadership capabilities to guide and mentor teams.
- A solution-oriented approach, able to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
- Experience in writing & scripting is a plus.
- Strong understanding and passion for automotive, technology, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries.
- 5 years of relevant experience; PG preferred but not mandatory.

- You’ve successfully led content pitches and campaigns that drive brand impact.
